God’s love is found in His will. Doing the commands of Jesus is doing His will.
John 15:4-7
Abide in me, and my words abide in you, and you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you. When His word is abiding in you, you don’t ask for anything outside of His will. If you are not sure of whether your desire is His desire, since His word is abiding in you, you search the Scriptures to find out whether your desire is His desire, or you ask your pastor or the leaders in your church to clearly show you in the word of God. Once they show you, you study it for yourself. Then, since the word is abiding in you, when you see it, you do it.
7) As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
You cannot meet your needs without God. Something, somewhere is going to break down, because the foundation is of this earthly realm. The good news is, you don’t have to be without God. He just told you that you don’t have to meet your own needs. You don’t have to beg, borrow or steal. You don’t have to work your fingers to the bone. If you want to live a life filled with adventures in faith and victory, get His word in you. He meets your needs when you abide in Him and His word abides in you.
One thing that happens when God’s word is abiding in you, is that you learn how God intended for you to live. You learn how to have a relationship with Him, and how to relate to others. You learn things like how to love your spouse, your children, your friends, your employees/co-workers/boss. You learn how to love your pastor and help him with his vision for the church.
God loves you with a wonderful, great and intense love. Even though His love is unconditional, living in the blessings He provided is conditional. They are conditional upon you performing your part of the covenant.
