You may be asking, what does this have to do with Faith. Well in order to live, you need to use your faith to get out of debt. Don’t get me wrong, I like new cars and was an “Engineer” at Ford Motor Company during the early part of my career.
There are some cities that you do not need a car; such as New York and Chicago. However, in the Motor City or Metro Detroit area it is difficult to live and work without a car. Here is the good news. You can pay cash for your next car! You might ask how? My wife and I have purchased at least three cars with cash. Don’t get me wrong, we are not buying brand new cars. However, the ones we have bought have lasted us for up to 7 years. You can easily do this now. Save the cash for your next car. You can start with say a $3500.00 – $10,000. As you save money from a car you own, you start building up your nest egg for next car. The story line that you will get from the dealers are that all the used cars were snatched up during the “Cash for Clunkers” program. That may be somewhat true, but people who are buying new cars are starting to trade in their used cars.
Tips for buying a used car:
1. Look at the cars on Ebay
2. Go to the Use Car Dealers and shop around
3. Visit service stations that have cars for sell
4. Post your desired car specs on Facebook.
You will be surprised at the number of deals you can find.
