Mapping Out Your Path to a Glorious Life

Mapping Out Your Path to a Glorious Life

I attended a Diamonds meeting last year.  “Diamonds” is the name of the women’s
ministry at Word of Faith.  It was a
lovely experience listening to the keynote speaker, Rev. Cathy Duplantis.  She certainly flowed in the power of God as
she ministered on living the glorious life.

One point I really focused on, as I left the service, was
that we need a map to show us where things are in the Bible, just like we need
a map to show us where certain stores are in a mall.  As you know, the Bible is a very big book
with thousands of teeny-tiny words in it. Sometimes I don’t know where to find
certain things that I need for my life.  The
good news is that the Holy Spirit helps me find those wonderful truths I need
for my every-day life. Amazingly enough, as I lean on Him, I ALWAYS find what I
need.

As I was listening to Rev. Cathy’s message, I thought about Christian
books that I’ve recently read, books by authors such as Kenneth Copeland, Jerry
Savelle, or my own pastor, Pastor Andre. While these books are not the Bible,
they are somewhat of a map to show me where to find certain truths in the
Bible. If I read them prayerfully, God will lead me to scriptures in the Bible
that speak to me even louder that what I read in the books.

Rev. Duplantis also spoke about staying under the spout
where the glory is coming out. The spout represents the love of God.  When I stay under that love spout, loving God
and loving others as myself, God continually leads me into greater favor and
blessing in my life.  He will do the same
for you.

I Thank God for my church.
I thank God for Min. Tiffany (my pastor’s wife). And I thank God for
people who are bold enough to preach the gospel like Rev. Cathy Duplantis.

From
under the spout,
Carolyn
Bridges
