Be the Lender and Not the Borrower
Remember the movie, “Honey I Shrunk the Kids”. Well its time for another movie, and the title should be “Honey I Shrunk the Bills”. This would be a wonderful thing for some and an absolute necessity for others. The bible tells us to owe no man anything but to love. It is time to get out of debt. It is time to be the lender and not the borrower. So husbands and wives, do your part. Don’t overspend or over commit your finances. Pay off your bills, so that one day in the near future, you can tell your spouse: “Honey I Shrunk the Bills”

De 15:6 For the LORD thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee.
De 28:12 The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.
