A Race Relationship Prayer
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. Galatians 3:28
Today, Father, we are turning our attention on relationships and race. We know that you do not see race, You see us through the blood of Jesus, sanctified and justified by His blood. As Galatians 3:27-29 says, “For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
This is why we pray concerning racial prejudice, seeing the greatness of Your plan by which believers are built together in Christ:
We bow our knees before the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, For Whom every family in heaven and on earth is named.
May He grant American citizens out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the Holy Spirit, Himself, indwelling their innermost being and personality.
May Christ, through their faith, dwell in their hearts! May they be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love, That they may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth of it that love; That they may really come to know practically, through experience for themselves, the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge, without experience; that they may be filled until they are full of the fullness of God; and they may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself!
Now to Him Who, by power that is at work within us, is able to carry out His purpose in us and do super abundantly in us, through us, and for us, far over and above all that we ask or think, infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams: To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.
