Day 17 31 Days of Prayer, A Hunger for Truth
Are you Hungry for Truth?
Sanctify them through thy truth; thy word is truth.John 17:17
To the God and Father of Our Lord Jesus Christ:
We ask for a renewed hunger for Your Truth in our land, the truth that Jesus is Lord.Father we thank You for Jesus.Thank You because He prayed for us as we quoted in John 17.It was His request that You sanctify all His followers through Your word, for You have magnified Your word even above Your name. Not only was this prayer for Jesus’ followers, but it is for all those who would follow Him as a result of the preaching of the disciples. That means me.That means every Christian. So, as we seek Your face about the United States of America, we thank You for answering our prayer. We expect to see a revival in America; revival in our homes; revival in our schools; revival on our jobs; revival in our governments; revival everywhere we go, because of Your truth that You brought to our nation.
We thank You because each believer will be bold to speak the truth in every situation they face, especially in compromising circumstances.Thank You because Your truth comes to bear and the word of God has preeminence in the lives of believers everywhere.Because believers hunger and thirst for truth, they allow the truth to flow out of their mouths each and every day.And as Your word is spoken, You are there, Father, to see it come to pass.
By faith we see the word of God coming to pass in our government, on our jobs, in our schools and in our homes. We see the truth at the forefront of this great nation, because believers everywhere hunger for it and seek it relentlessly.
This is our prayer today, in Jesus’ wonderful Name.Amen
