Day 11 31 Days of Prayer, Rights
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name… John 1:12 (KJV)
To the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the One who endowed us with certain inalienable rights:
First of all Father, we thank you for salvation through Jesus Christ.We thank you for the right to believe – to believe that Jesus is Lord, that He died personally for each of us, and that He was raised from the dead for our justification.We do not cease to thank You for that.
Now, as citizens of the United States, we thank you for the words written in the Declaration of Independence:
---WE hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness… Declaration of Independence 1776---
Thank You for founders who established this country on the fact that our rights come from You. We ask for your divine intervention against all attempts to re-define those rights on man’s terms. We declare that no weapon formed against the church shall prosper.Our enemies will come out against us one way and flee before us seven ways.This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and our righteousness is of You!
We have the right to worship God openly and freely – and it will always be that way as long as the church is in the earth.
