31 Days of Prayer - Day 1

Day 1

31 Days of Prayer

Thank God for the United States of America

We dedicate this day to thank the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the God of glory, for the United States of America.  Father, we thank You for all the good that You have done and we declare that this country shall complete the great commission You gave it, to preach the gospel to every person on Earth.

Father, we thank You that our constitution is based upon the word of God, which cannot be changed.  Your word has stood the test of time proving that it never fails.  Therefore, we thank You and praise You for this country and for our spiritual and natural leaders. Further, we thank You for every citizen in this nation – in particular, those that gave their lives, give their lives, and those who shall give their lives defending it.  We thank You also for divine protection on every border, whether on land, sea or air.  We do not take their dedication lightly – we appreciate them and honor them from the bottom of our hearts.  Thank You for that as we roll the care of this nation on You, that You keep us in safety, for You are able to keep that which is committed to You.

Thank You, Father, that You are Omniscient. Therefore, any plot against the rights of U.S. citizens – Christians in particular – are thwarted by the power of God.  Thank You, Father, for raising up thousands of government leaders that will honor You and hold fast to Your truths in their lives and in government. Give them precise wisdom to define the rights of citizens in light of the Word of God.

We thank You for all of the praying Christians in this country that are praying even now.  Thank You for loving us, and hearing and answering our prayer.  We ask these things not in our own name, but in the name of Jesus our Lord.

"Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, Thanksgiving and honor and power and might, Be to our God forever and ever. Amen." Revelation 7:12
