Psalms for Summer - Day 10

Three Steps to Victory

Psalm 21:1-2

By Carolyn T. Bridges

1 The king shall have joy in Your strength, O Lord; and in Your salvation how greatly shall he rejoice! 2 You have given him his heart’s desire, and have not withheld the request of his lips. (NKJV)

It is good to stop and testify once in a while about what the Lord has already done. We sometimes get so caught up current trials that we forget what God has already done in our life. Here are three steps to victory over problems:

1. Decide what you want from God.

2. Find Scripture that promise you that desire.

3. Apply the Scripture until you receive the desire.

What do you desire? Find Scripture that promises you that request. That way you have a solid foundation for your faith. Apply that Scripture to your situation. Then, hold fast to God’s promises concerning it. Hold on to your confession of faith and never let it go. He will surely bring it to pass. When He does it, tell us about it. Testify to glorify the Name of Jesus.

In the following blog, I will give you a personal example of how God gave me victory using those three steps.
