A Testimony to Glorify GodPsalm 21:1-2 (New King James Version)
By Carolyn T. Bridges
It is good to stop and testify once in a while about what the Lord has already done. We sometimes get so caught up current trials that we forget what God has already done in our life. This is David’s testimony.
Let’s look at the testimony of the blind man that ran into Jesus in John 9. Jesus made spittle of dirt and spit and placed it on the man’s eyes. He told him ‘“Go, wash in the pool of Siloam.” So he went and washed, and came back seeing.” (Verse 7) This man was then questioned by the religious people of that day as to how his eyes were opened. So he testified, “…A Man called Jesus made clay and anointed my eyes and said to me, ‘Go to the pool of Siloam and wash.’ So I went and washed, and I received sight.” (Verse 11)
These men were angry and wanted to know where this Jesus was. Then they began to ask him all kinds of questions. Who is He? Is He a prophet? How is it that He opened your eyes? Is He a sinner? The healed man finally told them, (verse 25) “Whether He is a sinner or not I do not know. One thing I know: I was blind, but now I see.”
God is in the business of blessing you. But there are usually people around you that don’t believe God would do anything good for you. They may try to figure it out in their head or attribute your blessing to other things. However, there are some things that cannot be explained. When you hold fast to God’s Word, it always comes to pass for you.
Have a great day in the Lord.
