Merry Christmas

Possible

In prayer this morning, I heard the word POSSIBLE.  Whenever your situation looks impossible, say the word POSSIBLE.  Say it with a vengeance and with an attitude:  POSSIBLE!

Acts 27:20-25 shows us what God’s response to our impossible.
And when neither sun nor stars were visible for many days and no small tempest kept raging about us, all hope of our being saved was finally abandoned… For this [very] night there stood by my side an angel of the God to Whom I belong and Whom I serve and worship,
24 And he said, Do not be frightened, Paul! It is necessary for you to stand before Caesar; and behold, God has given you all those who are sailing with you. So keep up your courage, men, for I have faith (complete confidence) in God that it will be exactly as it was told me;”
Today we celebrate the birth of Jesus our Lord.  His precious gift to us dwarfs any gift anyone could ever give, every natural thing that we could receive from anyone.

God loves you, and everything is going to be all right as long as you stay in faith.  Keep your faith in God.  Your situation may be impossible.  The good news is that God specializes in the impossible.  So whenever you think about what you are facing today, just think POSSIBLE.  In your impossible situation, God is your POSSIBLE.

Remember Abraham’s impossible situation:

20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, 21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. 22 And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness.”[f]

23 Now it was not written for his sake alone that it was imputed to him, 24 but also for us. It shall be imputed to us who believe in Him who raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead, 25 who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification.

Jesus, that little baby born in a manger among the smell of all those animals came to make your impossible Possible.

Merry Christmas!
