Can’t Grasp God’s Blessings? (8 Rules)

Eight Ways to Simplify Your Prayer Life

An Introduction to the BLESSING of the Lord: The “IF” Clause

Whosoever shall say unto this mountain be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea and shall not doubt in his heart but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he saith.  Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Mark 11:24

God loves you so much that He desires for you to have everything you want, as long as you have faith in Him and meet the conditions of the covenant He has with you.  There is the “If Clause”in the word of God.   In general, the “IF Clause” involves pleasing God, abiding in Jesus and letting His word abide in you.  Once you meet the conditions, then you have a solid foundation for faith. In this writing, we will examine the conditions of the covenant so that we can properly understand how the kingdom of God works.  Don’t misunderstand. The conditions are not sickness, or poverty, or problems by any stretch of the imagination. Those are not teaching tools from heaven.  On the contrary, those are things that come directly from the devil, and God has given us authority over the devil by the shed blood of Jesus, so that we can defeat him every time.   We will see that the conditions of the covenant consist of pleasing God by abiding in Him.  It is then and only then, that we can apply our faith to any situation we come across and expect to overcome it every time.

Meeting the Conditions of Getting Your Prayers Answered
The “IF” CLAUSE

Do you always get whatever you ask? God tells us in several places in Scripture (as you will see if you follow this study) that it is His will for you to have whatever you ask (John 15:4-7), but there are conditions to answered prayer. There is the “IF CLAUSE”. We cannot coerce God, or trick God into giving us what we want. We have to follow His way of doing things.  But it is His delight to answer your prayer when you have done the “IFs”.

What are the “Ifs”?

In the next few days we will look at  what I call eight conditions of the Covenant, that “if” we pay close attention to them, we can simplify our prayer life significantly. It merely consists of our part of the covenant.  God has done all that He is going to do.  We must now do our part.  Here are the conditions:

  1. Abide in Jesus
  2. His Words must abide in you
  3. If you ask Him for what you want, He will give it to you
  4. If you please the Lord by having faith you will have what you want
  5. When your ways please the Lord you will have what you want
  6. Now. . .You can have whatever you want.  Yes, you can have whatever you want
  7. Abiding in the vine:  You in Him in You in Him in You in Him in You
  8. Applying your faith

You will find that when we do our part, we will begin to see the blessings in our life.  We will wonder, where in the world have I been?  Let’s walk through this adventure together...
