Prayer of Salvation

The Prayer of Salvation

If you have not received Jesus as the Lord of your life, you may do so at this time. The Bible says that “Whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)”

Say, "Dear God, I have sin and I ask you to forgive me of my sin.  I believe that Jesus is the Son of God. He gave His life for me by dying on the cross at Calvary.  He is no longer dead, because you God have raised Him from the dead. Jesus is alive right now.  Jesus, come into my life and into my heart and save me now. I turn away from my own way, and I receive you (Jesus) as my Lord and Savior."

If you prayed this prayer, then you are saved. You are now a Christian. The next thing you should do is to tell someone else about your decision to live for God. And then continue to study the word of God. Daily prayer and study in the word of God will help you to grow and become what you were created to be – a success in God.
