God has chosen you! The highest calling in life is to be chosen by God.
Have there been times in your life that you were not chosen? When I was a kid I wasn’t chosen for a lot of things. When I was chosen it was a privilege. We would play softball. There would be two team captains that had to choose their team. I was always chosen last. I really wasn’t chosen. I was just left and they had to let me play. That’s not exactly an ego booster.
After an entire childhood of being, in a sense, left, it was exciting to find out that God chose me. You see, when everybody else doesn’t want you, know that God chose you. When they don’t accept you in their club (or click), know that God accepts you (verse 6). Maybe the boss selected another employee, but know that God chose you.
God chose you before the world even began. You were chosen to show others the love of God. And as you do His will in life, you can rest assured that you will be chosen by others as well.
