For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. Acts 2:8-9
Faith is not a struggle. You have been given faith because of God's grace. You can't work hard enough, jump high enough nor run fast enough to earn faith, because faith is not earned. It is a gift. So you can't boast that you've been given something that no one else can get.
Using your faith is seeing what the word of God says and claiming it for yourself with the authority of the Name of Jesus. That name is yours. It is yours just as sure as your hands and feet are yours. There is no need to pray for more faith. You have been given all the faith you need to overcome in this life. You don't need more faith, you need to exercise your faith so that it can become stronger. Use the faith you have, and you will become stronger.
It's not normal for you to pray every day and nothing ever changes in your life. Prayer changes things for the better. Your are supposed to get results. Take inventory of your prayer life. Take a second look at what is going on in your life. How are you praying? Ask God to show you where you are missing it. God certainly isn't missing the mark. If you ask Him, He will show you. Expect Him to show you so that you can get on with the business of prayer.
