A few years ago, my wife spent our day after Thanksgiving at the movies. Talk about an interesting story line, a homeless young black kid taken in by a white family in Tennessee. The movie really showed the heart of a brave family to do what others would not do.
For them to take a chance to help someone who really needed it was a risk. The risk were high, but so were the rewards. In the end, the couple brought in the young man into their home. This young man later became an NFL top football player
A comment was made about the homeless people in american cities today: You may not give them money, but just giving them a simple "hello" could be all they need at the moment.
What is God telling you to do about the thousands of kids who are out there in the foster care system who could use a family to save them from a life of "hell on earth"?
This young man (Michael) who was adopted is playing in his first Superbowl on Sunday, February 3, 2013!!!
