Day 34 - 40 Days of Prayer, Repentance; Forgiveness

Day 34

40 Days of Prayer

Repentance & Forgiveness

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  1 John 1:9-10

Thank You that as we genuinely repent, You extend Your mercy and pardon upon our nation.  Just as Moses stood in the gap for the Israelites that turned their back on you, we stand in the gap for Americans that have turned their back on you.

Please open our eyes that we may see how far we have strayed as a nation that we may turn and seek you daily. We humbly and sincerely ask for Your forgiveness and restoration. We ask your forgiveness for any wrongdoing we have done toward anyone.

We forgive anyone who has done anything against us including those that have contributed to the moral decay of this nation; and most of all we ask that you forgive them and give them the opportunity to hear the good news of the gospel so that they can be born again and love You forever.  We thank you for forgiving us all and cleansing us from all unrighteousness.
