Day 33 - 40 Days of Prayer, Humility

Day 33
40  Days of  Prayer
Humility

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1 Peter 5:6-7

To God our Father in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ our Conquering King:

As we humble ourselves in prayer, knowing that You alone are the answer to all our prayers. You, Father, made heaven and earth and all that dwell therein.  Therefore, we seek You and turn from our wicked ways.  Thank You for hearing us, for forgiving us and for healing our land.  In all humility we look to You for help in bringing the United States back to a nation that is a Christian nation.  Therefore, we cease fighting one another and commence praying for one another.

We ask for Your intervention in the lives of every American; have mercy on us who have turned a deaf ear to You. We ask You to open our eyes that we may see the gospel of Jesus Christ, and that we see the error of our ways and become converted; and the grace that You’ve given us may abound toward us according to the generosity of Your gracious favor that You lavished upon us.   We pray by the blood of Jesus.  Amen
