The Word For the Week: Blessing

This word "blessing" appears in the Old Testament of King James version of the bible 64 times.

We often here someone say, bless you.  This is a very loose use of the word.   When we get a blessing from God, it is powerful.  Learn more about the word "blessing" by studying the bible on this subject.

 Ge 12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
